In Thailand, the company expects its hypermarket store network to reach 160 stores from the current 153 stores, its Big C Mini store network to reach 2,853 stores from the current 1,352 stores, and the supermarket and wholesale Big C to reach 84 stores. of the current 59 stores.
In Cambodia, the company plans to expand the Big C Hypermarket store network to six stores from the current store, and the Big C Mini store network to 276 stores from the current store, while in Lao PDR, his plan is to open two Big C Hypermarket stores. , and to expand the Big C Mini store network to 245 stores from the current 57 stores.
Meanwhile, the company plans to introduce a new Big C hypermarket concept in Bangkok under the name “Big C Place”, offering a shopping experience suitable for the lifestyle of the new generation to expand its customer base.
During 2022-2026, the company plans to renovate a total of 90 Big C hypermarkets nationwide with various renovation concepts to revitalize, expand and update its stores with a modern look.
The company aims to add renowned restaurants to its malls to meet the needs of a wider range of customers, and to introduce co-working spaces and chill-out zones to make its stores a destination for the younger generation.
The company develops its product line to meet the needs of local communities as well as to support local farmers through direct purchases from local farmers.
The company promotes the use of technology with the O2O (Online to Offline) business model, combining online and offline business to create competitive advantages for the future.
The Company also develops its store models to meet various customer needs through models such as the “Donjai” partnership model, providing traditional store owners with the opportunity to upgrade their stores through cooperation with the Company, while retaining full ownership of their stores. .
As of March 18, 498 traditional stores have already joined the Donjai partnership model.
In mid-2021, the company opened its first new wholesale business model “MM Food Service” in Thailand at Palm Island and its second store at Soi Chokchai 4 in October 2021.
MM Food Service stores carry over 6,000 items, primarily targeting hotel and restaurant customers who wish to purchase products in bulk. The company is currently developing the MM Food Service model and considering its expansion plans for the future.
